About Us

From Babies to Seniors & Everyone In Between… We Can Help

Other medical problems and chronic illnesses significantly benefit from chiropractic care. Adults suffering from headaches, migraines, digestive issues, lupus, and infertility and children handling bed wetting, acid reflux, asthma, and chronic ear infections may find relief through a combination of chiropractic treatment, exercise, and lifestyle changes.

Unlike standard medical treatment, chiropractic care targets the source of the problem, rather than settling for a solution that reduces but does not eliminate pain. If such treatment could benefit your condition, contact Healing Hands Chiropractic, LLC for a free consultation. X-rays, offered on premises, may be requested.

Dr. Kaitlyn Jones

Dr. Kaitlyn was born and raised in New Jersey and has lived in Connecticut for the past 5 years. She joined the Healing Hands Chiropractic team in July of 2023. Her first introduction to chiropractic care followed a specific case she was dealing with as the Athletic Trainer for Kean University’s Men’s Volleyball team. When an athlete she was rehabilitating for months hit a plateau, one visit to the sports chiropractor led to a full recovery. She knew immediately this would be her next career path in order to provide the best care for her future patients. She is passionate about using her hands on techniques and knowledge in the field of holistic health to get patients to the next level of living a healthier, happier life. She believes that the best thing one can do for their health and longevity is protecting their nervous system through chiropractic adjustments.

When she is not at work, Dr. Kaitlyn enjoys kickboxing, hiking, and traveling. After graduating chiropractic school she spent a month backpacking in Europe. She is the type of person to be in a room full of people but happily in the corner playing with the dog.

Genaro Ruiz Chiropractor

CHIROPRACTOR

Dr. Genaro Ruiz

Dr. Genaro was raised in Des Moines, Iowa, around horses and other farm animals. Both of his parents are immigrants from Mexico. While in high school, Genaro’s mother fell and ended up at a chiropractic office. The chiropractor said that her pelvis was misaligned. After an adjustment, his mother started to feel better.

When Dr. Genaro was a high school student himself, he began to develop an interest in robotics. Participating in the robotics program led Dr. Genaro to a college major in Robotics and the beginning of his military career. In September of 2012, he joined the U.S. Air Force and was soon shipped to basic training in San Antonio, Texas. He served in active duty for seven years as an avionics technician. While in service, Dr. Genaro saw many of his military colleagues developing back injuries. One of his friends ended up having back surgery, which made the condition worse, leading to a medical discharge from service.

This is when Dr. Genaro realized he needed to make a career change. He remembered his mother’s experience with chiropractic care and decided to pursue a degree in health and wellness. He graduated from Arkansas State University with an Associate Degree in Health Sciences, in addition to his degree in Aviation Technology from the Community College of Air force. In 2020, Dr. Genaro moved to Connecticut and started the path to becoming a Chiropractor. He obtained his doctorate in Chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport and has been helping people through chiropractic adjustments since then.

Dr. Genaro enjoys soccer, boxing, and spending time with his wife and two-year-old son. He continues to serve our country as a member of the Air Force Reserves. We look forward to working with him, and hope everyone will extend a warm welcome as he joins our Healing Hands Family.
